Significant Kangaroo Hazard

All pilots and operators be aware of the Kangaroo and other wildlife hazards on this airfield.  The hazard is more likely during the dawn and dusk periods daily. Of recent times it has been noted that large Kangaroo mobs have been noted on the airfield and at times pose a threat to aircraft.

Wet Weather/Ground Ops

During periods of heavy rain and the days afterwards, we recommend to stay on the hard surfaces only and stay off the grass. The grounds here become very soft and muddy and it is very easy to get the aeroplane bogged and damage the grounds. Water tends to pool if the grounds have been dry for some time or become swampy if they are wet. If you have any concerns or questions please contact the office.
