This years Annual Pilots Dinner and Wings Presentation evening was combined. It washeld on 13th October at East Maitland Golf Club. Our guest speaker, Matt Hall informed and entertained members with tales from his very impressive flying career.

The Annual Wings Night will be held on 12th November 2011 - this is where the flying achievements of our club members are recognised. We acknowledge those who flew their First Solo Flight through to Commercial Licences - each an important step in our members aviation careers. The suspense that has been building all year is finally over with the announcement and presentation of the cumulative Club Championships and other various awards. The venue this year will the East Maitland Golf Club.

On 21st November 2010 our monthly Club Day will be a Flyout to Gunnedah. All levels of pilots are welcome, instructors are available if required, so make your booking early. Call the office to register your interest.
October 2011 is the 50th Anniversary that RNAC have operated Cessna Aircraft.
2011 is also the 80th Anniversary that Tiger Moths were first built.
As a result of these two milestones we are proposing a mass flyover of Maitland, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie on Saturday 22nd October. More information will be available as the programme is
finalised.
Round 2 of the Club Championships was held on Sunday 15th May, 2011. All levels of pilots are welcome at the club days, instructors are always on board. Registering your intention to participate is always encouraged so that we can utilise aircraft and instructors efficiently. It also assists for the BBQ catering.
Five aircraft will be departing Maitland airfield on Monday 11th March heading to Hobart before returning on Sunday 24th March 2013.
With overnight stays in Moruya and Launceston, then a few days in Hobart, returning via Devonport and La Trobe Valley for the Australian Light Aircraft Championships there will be navigational challenges along with much excitement when crossing Bass Straight.
