Approved pilots:

·          The pilot must hold a current HGFA weightshift microlight pilot certificate (can be student status): RAA pilots are NOT eligible to fly this aircraft.

·          The pilot must have a minimum of 20hrs on another aircraft(s) before flying the RNAC trike,

·          The pilot must have successfully completed a checkflight with the Rutherford HGFA CFI (Chris Perdulovski).

Insurance T2-2215

It is insured under the RNAC fleet insurance with an excess of $1,000 each claim (up to this figure is to be paid by those who have caused damage to the microlight).  Each licenced pilot holds third party person insurance under their HGFA membership.

Currently T2-2215 is NOT covered whilst being trailered: hence it is not available to be taken away from the airfield on such trips.

Solo ??

As long as the pilot meets all the points under “Approved Pilots” above, the pilot may undertake their first and subsequent solo in T2-2215.

Cost:

The F12 cost of hire is $60/hr plus fuel levee.  Fuel is calculated at the set monthly price multiplied by 12L/hr for solo hire, 18L/hr for dual hire.
